'PITBULL' TRANSPORT
One of the 'rejected' concept sketches for my HSC: Industrial Technology Major Projects, but since I liked it alot I decided to make it in the end.

Known as the 'PitBull' this class of transport is known for its high maneuverability. The Transport's default configuration has a large scanner underneath the main hull that can be removed and replaced by other devices. Pirates have been known to use this transport as a 'raid corvette'. It's agile nature and cargo space allows it to haul away a loot. More daring pirates have replaced the large scanner with a high-beam phaser cannon, and some have reported these outfitted ships attempting to strike-down larger vessels with them.
