'KAELA' BROADSIDE CRUISER
Inspired by WWII Battleships, I wanted to create a 'floating' warship with a whole lot of guns on it. The large cannons on the side may or may not be inspired by Macro-Cannons.

The Kaela Broadside Cruiser was designed for atmospheric battles, featuring 13 dual-cannon turrets and 5 heavy howitzers (notoriously known as howlers) as its primary weapons on each side. Majority of the gun's firing arcs allow for devastating broadsides and heavy bombardment below; while the top is outfitted with heavy armor to compensate for its lack of firepower above. Due to its armament, the cruiser is quite sluggish and is more suited for long-ranged attacks from its dual-cannon turrets. The Howlers themselves are also at a disadvantage, being designed as point-blank shotguns. However, most captains have often retrofitted it to perform in space with impressive results. Without gravity weighing it down, the Kaela Cruiser is able to re-position itself rapidly in battle for concentrated salvos. It is also not uncommon for captains to change-up or even alter the Howler's ammunition types, which gives every Kaela an unique persona that is illustrated by its primary armament.
