AEGIS-CLASS LIGHT CRUISER
I have an unconditional love for Sci-Fi, and Star Trek is no exception. After watching a lot of series and playing Star Trek Online, i was inspired to create my own design. It is also the first 3D Model I have textured instead of just using colors (albeit very sloppily).

The Aegis Class is armed with Phaser Turrets and forward Phaser Cannons. Designed with a flat profile, the Aegis Class is mainly tasked with escort roles while also capable of some long-range missions. The bridge section is capable of receding back into the hull for combat engagements, while its large hangar bay (relative to its size) is capable of supporting a squadron of attack fighters. While the Aegis' weapons are hard hitting; its weapons are mainly forward mounted, leaving a majority of the rear unprotected. Its ablative armor along side its mediocre maneuverability helps compensate for this 'blind spot'. Ultimately, the Aegis Class Light Cruiser is designed to be capable of performing long-range missions while also being able to act as an escort/support cruiser for bigger and more vulnerable starships.
